Britain’s Ace Drummin’ Man, John Petters returns with his Jazz Band to Sylvie’s Place (Croydon PO Social & Athletic Club Trenham Drive, Warlingham, CR6 9RU) on Wednesday 3rd July @ 8pm.
A flamboyant and driving drummer in the Gene Krupa tradition, Petters has a long pedigree, having recorded with such American traditional jazz legends as Wild Bill Davison, Art Hodes, Yank Lawson and Kenny Davern, and in the UK with George Chisholm OBE, Ken Colyer & Humphrey Lyttelton.
