To start your Christms season on a bright note, Sylvie's Place is proud to bring you the Gambit Jazzmen.
Under Pete Lay's leadership, the Gambit have been a driving force in the continuance of Traditional Jazz for over 35 years.
The personnel include John Maddocks, clr & tnr, Alan Gresty, cnt, Barry Weston, tmb, Roger Link, bass, Andy Maynard, bjo & gtr and Pete Lay, drums.
Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday I was worried sick about stepping into the Sylvie's footsteps...and now the year is almost at its end!
I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you who
have supported Sylvie's Place this past season and for your continued support of Traditional jazz wherever it is being played.
We will be taking the month of January as a break time but will be back and ready to go full force starting in February 2019.
From our home to yours, may your Yuletide season be filled with love, laughter, mince pies and, of course, Traditional Jazz!
